Methodology of state assessment and prediction of the environment by the material an energy flow (direct as well hidden) balances
Abstract
Project discuses approaches of material and energy flows at various levels – at firm, regional and national level. The manuals for flow assessment at firm and regional levels were prepared.
Energy flows were analysed by GEMIS-model. This approach was applied for the energy flow analysis of ČEZ and for total energy flow balance and analysis of the Czech republic in 1996.
The third part aims on more deep assessment of different material flow analysis. Eurostat approach - material flow accounts, balancewas applied for material flow analysis of the Czech Republic in the period of 1990-1999.
All material flow indicators were computed and calculated according the Eurostat methodological guide. These indicators were compared with other countries.
Description of interface between used analysis as well as a recommendation for improvement and modifications of statistics were presented too.
