Abstract
On the 3rd of April 2006, the Central Bohemia regional government organised a conference on tourism in its area. The workshop of implementation of the Cycling Strategy with emphasis on construction of cycle paths in the region and funding made a part of the conference.
It was based on findings of the research project „Analysis of needs and priorities in construction of the cycling infrastructure in the Czech Republic“ and the research mission „Sustainable transport – a chance for our future, phase 3.1.4. „Cycling in urban areas“.
