Abstract
The conference was started on 4. 10. 2006 - In the introduction we have underlined that one of the basic conditions for a good support of cycling is the existence of good-quality and safe cycling infrastructure which should be designed upon the Technical guidelines TP 179 „Designing of cycling infrastructure“, The conference is focused on presentation of the research project "Analysis of needs and priorities in construction of cycling infrastructure in the Czech Republic" and the research project called "Sustainable transport - a chance for our future, phase 3.1.4. "Cycling in urban areas". 5.10.2006 - official opening of a new cycle path in Mladá Boleslav.
