Abstract
Complex analysis of cycling transport development and the aspects of planning and technical elements of the cycle infrastructure in Czech republic as well as abroad. Objectives, methods and results of traffic surveys, focused on obtaining new sources for next possibilities of optimalization of selected aspects of cycle infrastructure planning and its technical elements, with taking these, that are not yet adequate resolved in legislative level in our conditions, it means above all suitable ways of cycling transport proposals at roundabouts, two-way cycle traffic in one-way streets, new and more suitable criterions for creating jointly used communications with mixed traffic of pedestrians and cyclist without their mutual separation and more exact definition of conditions for cycling communication proposals in public mass transport bus-stop areas.
