Abstract
If we want to tackle the support of cycle tourism slony the Ploučnice river thoroughly, it is necessary to establish adequate conditions for it. From the transport point-of-view, the safety of cyclists has to be ensured.
The article presents 7 areas where cycle paths are constructed in a large scale. This influences both, increase of cyclists´safety on their ways to work, school and development of tourism.
