Investigation of the mechanism of action of 3-(4-bromophenyl)-5-acyloxymethyl-2,5-dihydrofuran-2-one against Candida albicans by flow cytometry

Abstract

The action of 3-(4-bromophenyl)-5-acyloxymethyl-2,5-dihydrofuran-2-one against Candida albicanswas investigated by flow cytometry. The compound was found to possess potent fungicidal activity, resulting in the damage of cell membrane
