The effect of new lipophilic chelators on the activities of cytosolic reductases and P 450 cytochromes involved in the metabolism of anthracycline antibiotics: Studies in vitro

Abstract

Pyridoxal isonicotinoyl hydrazone and its analogue have no effect on the activities of enzymes involved in the metabolism of anthracycline antibiotics; daunorubicin and doxorubicin signaficantly reduce cytochrome P450 activities; the addition of chelator
