Effect of manganese (II), cobalt (II) and nickel (II) ions on the growth and production of coumarins in the suspension culture of Angelica archangelica L.

Abstract

Toxicity of Mn (II), Co (II) and Ni (II) ions for Angelica archangelica cell suspension cultures was assayed according as their effect on the growth. Production of coumarins was not stimulated by any tested metal in comparison to the control cultures
