Abstract

At the beginning of the book is recapitulated basic information about the immune system and its disorders. The second part contains the basic description of the laboratory methods used in the diagnosis of immunopathological conditions, their principles, pitfalls, including economic aspects.

The third part focuses on the determination of parameters of cellular and humoral immunity, indications, selection of the methodological possibilities of determining the advantages and disadvantages of different types of methodologies to determine a parameter, indication for pathological examination and interpretation of results. Brief mention is also the issue of laboratory and transplant antitumor immunity.

The last part focuses on the circuit set of recommended testing for each suspected immunopathological conditions (allergies, autoimmunity, immunodeficiency).
