Abstract

Vasculitis is a heterogeneous group of diseases in which the vascular wall is primarily affected by inflammation mediated by immunopathological mechanisms. It is a relatively rare disease with varied clinical manifestations.

Therefore, the diagnosis of systemic vasculitis is sometimes made very late. The treatment of primary vasculitis usually requires immunosuppressive treatment and the prognosis of affected patients is affected not only by the underlying disease, but also by the complications resulting from this treatment.
