Problems of risk development of children and adolescents: main themes and implications for future research

Abstract
The study deals with risk behaviors in adolescence. In the first part we summarize the results of three international epidemiological studies (ESPAD, HBSC, SAHA), in which Czech Republic participates.
In the second part we overview Czech and Slovak studies on risk behavior and risk factors of youth development. In the third part we articulate possible trends of further research on adolescent risk behavior on the basis of analysis of Czech and Slovak studies and present trends of international research.
