Abstract

At present, among other things, the view of human sports activities has changed, especially in childhood. We try to compensate for the sedentary lifestyle by organized activity, which, however, usually brings untouched physical activity, in contrast to the workload that our ancestors encountered during physical work.

In today's child, sport should respond to a changed way of life, it should stimulate active health, performance, but also the process of growth and development. First of all, it must bring joy to the game, not the order of organized training, because often sports become a risky activity for today's children, especially in the youngest age categories.

The authors of the publication therefore try to point out some basic requirements of a young organism that can get excited, but often not defend itself. The organizers invited representatives of all specializations to cooperate: doctors, teachers, psychologists and coaches, so that the monograph offers a comprehensive multidisciplinary view.

The book will be useful for the orientation of a general practitioner in this area, for an expert who wants to use the benefits of exercise for his patient, for a rehabilitation worker and for medical and rehabilitation students.
