Abstract
The presented publication summarizes the issues of the field of forensic medicine. In the general part, it analyzes the concept of the field, acquaints the reader with basic forensic medical concepts and with crimes against health and life, against human dignity.
In a special part, attention is paid to health standards, especially Act No. 20/66 and its amendments, the issue of autopsies, the Funeral Services Act. The publication deals with all the basic chapters of this interesting field standing on the border of medicine and law.
