Sudden Death Syndrome - Is Effective Prevention Possible?

Abstract

The autoptic material of our work has been for 40 years (1964-2003) dissected a total of 1,321 infants who died suddenly in Prague and Central Bohemia. Mortality reached the end of the 80th years in these two regions values of 1-2 per thousand live births and was an important part of infant mortality.
