Abstract
Consensual opinion of the Czech dental and paediatric societies summarizes the current state of knowledge about fluoride caries prevention with special emphasis on the scientific evidence for the efficacy and safety of fluoride supplementation. The statement defines the indication and dose regimen of fluoride tablets and the recommended indication procedures for providers of primary dental and paediatric care.
