Abstract

Our concept is based on principles of developmental kinesiology. When applying therapeutic strengthening exercise techniques, adequate resistance is used against verticalization and locomotion in various postural situations.

This approach facilitates the use of high level variability in training of intermuscular coordination for the segmental stabilization and is also applicable in training of situations with increased strength requirements. The resulting maximization of relevant strength-coordination functional reserves plays a key role in the prevention of vertebrogenic relapses caused by overloads in ADL, athletic/fitness and work related activities.
