ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) in the therapy of respiration and circulation failure in newborns and children: case reports

Abstract

The authors present 5 case reports of pediatric patients, who were hospitalized at PICU. Pediatric Department Faculty Hospital in Prague and indicated to the Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) therapy from October 2010 to April 2011.
