New methodological recommendations for the immediate post-traumatic phase in cerebrospinal cord injuries in children

Abstract

Cerebrospinal cord injuries to children are becoming more common, only abroad, but also in our country. Covered isolated injuries are increasing.

Adrenaline activities and sports are more common. Safety helmets for small cyclists, but also for skateboarders and downhill skiers, for children's skiers and for in-line skating are still pleasantly rare.

From the mass media, we learn about individual injuries with fatal deceleration brain injuries, where it is possible to rule out insulin survival and even short-term professional help not avert death. But it is becoming increasingly clear that it is possible to address the secondary vulnerability of the brain, which can help reduce the degree of influence - or underestimate and neglect its development.
