Abstract
Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men in our country. Although the increase in mortality from this disease is far from rapid compared to its incidence, it is the third most common cause of cancer death in men in the Czech Republic.
Today, in addition to surgical and radiation treatment, pharmacological treatment is an integral part of comprehensive care for patients with prostate cancer.
