Abstract

Endoglin is glycoprotein localized in vell surface a s an aprt of TGF-beta. Endoglin was firstly described at the end of 80 years of the last century as cell membrane antigen in patients witj pre B-cell leukemia.Endoglin is expressed in macrophages, erythrocyte precursors, syncitiotrophoblasts, fibroblasts etc.

Function of endoglin are: cell diferentiation and proliferation, vascular remodelling, angiogenesis and developping of cardiovascular system.
