Abstract
The impetus for writing the book was the authors' dissemination of unprofessional and untrue information about the occurrence and danger of infectious diseases and about vaccination as their prevention. The result is a clear and well-arranged publication that acquaints the general public with objective facts about the current possibilities, advantages and disadvantages of various types of vaccination.
