Unusual cause of alergic reaction in a child (case history)

Abstract

The author describes an interesting case of repeated oedema of tongue and gingiva in frontal region in lower jaw in 14 years old boy. The reason of these pathological changes was alergic reaction to saliva and hair of hamster which was in his care for 7 years.

The boy loved his pet and before going to school and after coming back home he always kissed it on the mouth.
