Abstract
The article describes all new approaches to dental caries as an infectious disease. This new paradigma of dental decay calls for minimal invasive preventive and operative treatment of dental caries with saving of hard dental tissues.
This general goal is changing rules of cavity preparation as well as the use of suitable filling materials. Key words: new paradigma of dental decay, preventive treatment, MIdentistry
