Abstract
In this article, we are dealing with pathologic changes determined by atherosclerosis in the renal blood vessels and parenchyma in patients with diabetes mellitus, which are summarized under the concept of vascular nephropathies. We are dealing with individual types of vascular nephropathy, their clinical significance and aspects of diagnosis and treatment.
