Abstract
Authors assess their first experience with a novel dia-gnostic method used in small bowel examination - a capsu-le enteroscopy. According their results it is a safe, reliable and comfortable method with higher sensitivity in compara-tion with conventional X-ray or endoscopic imaging met-hods in basic indications, such as obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, iron deficiency anemia, Crohn's disease or small bowel tumors.
Early results are in correlation with previ-ously published studies.
