Recomended working procedure in suspection of change in ability to drive motor vehicle due to influence of medication
Abstract
The article puts forward a first proposal "Recomended working procedure in suspection of change in ability to drive motor vehicle due to influence of medication." The working procedure was needed a long time ago but the last impulse was novella of the road law. The working procedure is based on the reaction time testing with two forms of neuropsychological tests.
This procedure should protect medical doctors and patients and it was developed in discussion with psychologists and lawyers. The recomended procedure is devided in two parts: putting or changing of medication and stabilization of a dose.
It has some economical costs but the investment is very fast back especially for Czech Pain Society (CPS) members. The recomended working procedure is approved by CPS committee and it was presented at the important algesiological congress.
