Abstract

Menopause is the period of the last menstrual bleeding. It is followed by a period of postmenopause, during which the production of female sex hormones is minimized.

Menopause is associated with unpleasant menopausal symptoms such as flushing, sweating, sleep disorders, mood and concentration disorders, depression, fear, nervousness, palpitations, exhaustion and excessive fatigue. Due to estrogen supplementation, menopausal problems can be avoided.
