Abstract

Urinary incontinence is defined as an episode of accidental leakage of urine through the urethra that causes a hygiene or social problem. The prevalence of urinary incontinence in adult women is more than 20%.

According to clinical manifestations, incontinence is divided into stress, urgent, reflex and paradoxical. Our outpatient clinics are visited mainly by patients with different severity of stress incontinence symptoms and various symptoms of overactive bladder.

Currently, the most modern surgical treatment modality for stress incontinence is tensile tape surgery. An active approach to incontinence-suffering women is used in the treatment of overactive bladder.

The adjustment of lifestyle significantly contributes to the effectiveness of treatment, together with the administration of parasympatholytics.
