Abstract

In some individuals, disturbed motor function results from cortical and neocerebellar dysfunction. These individuals present with an insufficient ability to learn new motor skills.

Limited motor planning, compromises manual dexterity especially when performing complex motor stereotypes. The described set of symptoms is usually diagnosed as Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) or developmental dyspraxia (DP).
