Abstract
The fourth edition of the successful monograph summarizes, in addition to basic knowledge of internal medicine, also current information, about which all its subfields have been enriched in recent years. The text is intended primarily for postgraduate studies, but it will undoubtedly, as in the previous three editions, also serve medical students.
It is traditionally divided into two parts - general and special. The general part includes information beyond the individual disciplines of internal medicine.
The chapters of the special part present internal diseases according to individual internal subfields; they are supplemented by the latest data from the field of diagnostics as well as modern treatment.
