Abstract
Acute gastroenteritis (AG) and the ever improving socio-economic standard in developed countries are still the second most common reason (after respiratory infections) to visit a doctor. Usually held slightly and in most cases are solved outpatient basis.
Nevertheless, represent 10% of indications for hospitalization among children under five years.
