Abstract

The causality demonstrates the case of a 28-year-old patient suffering from type 1 diabetes mellitus who developed central pontin myelinolysis (CPM), which is a rare diabetes complication. CPM in this case is diagnosed as the consequence of hypoglycaemia prior to treatment.

Subsequently the patient was admitted to hospital once more with rare lesions of the cerebellum.
