Abstract
Verification of techniques strengthen fixators of scapula assist in surface electromyography The definition of upper and lower fixators of scapula should be amended to include the term of middle fixators of scapula respectively scapula adductores (mid trap and rhomboids). This is due to different functions of the muscles surrounding the scapula.
Considering specific function of the individual muscles we suggest to use more variety of exercises in overall workout programs. The surface EMG measurement was done on different parts of scapular muscles during four types of exercises which are regularly used to strengthen the scapular fixators.
