Abstract

In normal life, in a healthy individual, fasting periods (defined as a situation of not eating longer than 6 hours), postprandial periods (lasting 2-4 hours) and interprandial periods between meals alternate within 24 hours. The basal state is understood as the metabolic conditions in which the organism finds itself in the morning after 10-14 hours of fasting.
