Abstract
The modern textbook of the state branch continues with the publication of Motol's authors Preclinical Paediatrics (Galén, 2003 and 2007) and represents a new and comprehensive processing of pediatric disciplines. It provides a basic view of the most important areas of child and adolescent care, with a clear didactic breakdown provides easy and quick access to all important information in the interest of early diagnosis, proven therapeutic treatment and further primary care follow-up with further levels of specialized and specialized care.
The publication contains chapters on individual body systems and sub-specializations of pediatrics, deals with the etiology and pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of childhood diseases from the prenatal period to the beginning of adulthood. The textbooks will be used by students of medical faculties to understand the basic principles used in various disease processes, but they will also be used by doctors for basic orientation in practice.
