Abstract
Authors assess their first experience with a novel diagnostic method used in small bowel examination - a capsu-le enteroscopy. According their results it is a safe, reliable and comfortable method with higher sensitivity in comparation with conventional X-ray or endoscopic imaging methods in basic indications, such as obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, iron deficiency anemia, Crohn's disease or small bowel tumors.
Early results are in correlation with previously published studies.
