Abstract
This review aims to compare the current recommendations and conclusions, brought by GOLD 2011 with the earlier versions. The majority of chapters of this 80-page document are evaluated, both in terms of what is new and in terms of whether they are in agreement with other relevant consensuses – namely the American, British and Czech ones.
