Abstract
The monograph is dealing with history of Czech nephrology beginning in 50-ies and finishing in the first decade of the 21.century. The authors are recruited from leading Czech and Slovak nephrologists, as well as from contemporary local nephrologists of different regions of Republic.
Thus, the book is not a writing of historians but of concrete persons who lived through this period
