Abstract

Diabetic neuropathy is a common neurological complication of diabetes mellitus first and second type. Is a clinically heterogeneous syndrome that most diabetic patients develops gradually, often asymptomatic.

Active approach to the diagnosis of early stages of diabetic neuropathy is the best strategy for the prevention of other serious complications. In clinical practice, it is important to distinguish between different causes of damaged peripheral nerves than diabetes mellitus patients and to provide corresponding causal therapy.
