Abstract
In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of children with complicated pneumonia, in whom, despite adequate antibiotic treatment and intensive care, the various degrees of intervention of a pediatric thoracic surgeon still have a place. the authors of the article present the most common serious complications of pediatric pneumonia and individual surgical treatment options, taking into account current trends in complex therapy of complicated pneumonia.
