Abstract
The article gives an overview of the current issue of childhood strabismus. Brief introductory remarks anatomical passes to the chapters on pathogenesis, classification, diagnosis and treatment of strabismus.
Emphasis is placed on the importance of prevention of amblyopia and binocular vision disorders, which are among the most serious complications in children strabology. Under each chapter also highlighted insights and knowledge that have their application in clinical practice ophthalmologist and pediatrician.
