Abstract
The ADVANCE study evaluates the clinical impact of intensive treatment of blood pressure and hyperglycemia in type 2 diabetics on the incidence of macrovascular and microvascular complications of diabetes. The results of the branch dealing with the importance of compensating blood pressure for the occurrence of complicated diabetes were published in a number of journals last year.
