Hysterectomy without adnexectomy

Publication |
2006

Abstract

The article by American authors tries to capture the problem to which we are often exposed in our clinics. The discussion with the client / patient planning a hysterectomy for a benign diagnosis must always touch on the question of whether to remove or keep the macroscopically healthy adnexa.

In our view, this discussion mainly concerns premenopausal women, the authors have extended this problem to women of early postmenopause.
