Abstract

Peutz-Jeghersův syndrome (PJS) is characterized by gastrointestinal polyps Associations with pigmentation. Gastrointestinal polyps are character hamartomatozních polyps, often appear in the small intestine (in order of frequency: jejunum, ileum, duodenum) may also occur in the stomach and colon.

Gastrointestinal polyps may, for the lead to chronic bleeding and anemia, recurrent obstructions and intususcepcím requiring repeated laparotomy and bowel resection.
