Abstract

A 6-year old girl was presented to hospital for evaluation of recurrent episodes of exercise-related syncope. Holter electrocardiogram revealed the diagnosis of catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia.

Genetic testing revealed a mutation of the cardiac ryanodine receptor gene. Patient was put on high-dose beta-blocker therapy and is nbow doing well after 5 years.
