Abstract
The article provides basic information about vaccination options in the Czech Republic in the adult population. An overview of infectious diseases for which vaccination is possible is given, with their basic characteristics and the number of reported cases in the Czech Republic per year.
The vaccines available and the target groups for which vaccination is appropriate are listed below. The article does not deal with vaccinations when going abroad.
