"Silly Walks" in Parkinson's Disease: Unusual Presentation of Dopaminergic-Induced Dyskinesias

Publication at Second Faculty of Medicine |
2011

The paper presents four Parkinson disease patients with strikingly similar bizarre gaits related to the effects of levodopa. Biphasic dopaminergic-induced dyskinesia is demonstrated as pathophysiologic background for this presentation that may easili be mistaken for a psychogenic movement disorder.
