A preliminary analysis of 162 patients operated for pancreatic cancer shows: 1 - Radical resection is the method of choice in the treatment of pancreatic cancer, which shows a significantly longer survival of patients. 2 - There is a significant difference in the survival of patients after radical resection and palliative care in favor of the first group of patients. 3 - After performing palliative resection, we observed longer survival than after palliative joint surgery (groups are not statistically evaluable).
