Abstract

There is a high risk of developing premature atherosclerosis and clinical cardiovascular events in obese patients with diabetes type 2. This is particularly caused by a frequent presence of other components of metabolic syndrome in these patients - high insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, hypertension, hypercoagulative status.

In our paper we describe a complex treatment of a diabetic patient suffering from all other diseases that comprise the insulin resistance syndrome. Thanks to the complex treatment this patient has reached better compensation of not only diabetes but also dyslipidemia and particularly obesity.

The patient has maintained the improvement for a long period.
