Abstract

The presented patient is a typical example of growth retardation after cancer treatment. The final height loss occurs in cancer patients after oncological treatment especially when combined growth hormone deficiency and the failure of gonadal function.

Our case highlights the need for close monitoring of patients after cancer treatment and early initiation of appropriate treatment. But there are still outstanding issues of growth failure in a number of cancer patients.
